[Savonet-users] Metadata From Headers

Guys,

I hope you don't mind me e-mailing about this but I didn't want to raise it
as an issue because it's not a bug but I would like some help.

I have an input.harbor and when a Icecast2 streaming client connects I can
see the headers ice-name and ice-description in the Liquidsoap logs
containing the values from the client. I want to take these values and
using either rewrite_metadata or map_metadata, I want to set the title of
the output stream to one of these values (it doesn't matter which one).

I've done a lot of Googling and spent many hours trying different things
but I haven't been successful. Could you please point me in the right
direction? Thanks,

We've had a similar question recently, you should look at the answer here:
https://github.com/savonet/liquidsoap/issues/381

Since this seems to be a common issue, I'll look at adding it to the
documentation.
